Welcome to 'Lemmings', a separate cottage in our garden at Last Lantern Cottage. We live in the small hamlet of Hewish, situated down a no-through lane, which ends in a river with a nearby beef cattle farm. 'Lemmings' has its own small garden, abutting a stream, with fields at your doorstep. The lane from Hewish boasts more walkers, dogs and horses than cars, yet leads, in under two miles, to the full shopping facilities at Crewkerne - which has a London mainline station. Hewish lies in an area of outstanding beauty on the Dorset/Devon boarders with the dramatic Jurassic Coast within easy driving distance. The elegance of Bath, the grace of Salisbury, the mysteries of Glastonbury and the historic cities of Dorchester and Exeter all lie within easy driving distance, for a memorable day's visit, whilst Lyme Regis is only 30 minutes by car through the spectacular Marshwood Vale. Excellent coastal/countryside walks abound and National Trust gardens and houses lie within easy reach - details of which we provide for your information. One well-behaved dog welcome.
